The short version
Our tools are free to use, given as-is, for information and fun — not financial advice, and we never predict a card's grade.
You upload your own photos of cards you own. You keep ownership of your photos. Don't upload official card scans or anything you don't have the right to use.
Photo tools run in your browser — your photo is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
We are not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or PSA. All trademarks belong to their owners.
1. What this is
Card Desk ("we," "us") provides free web tools for trading-card collectors — including a grading-ROI calculator and a card-frame ("showcase") maker. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Your content (your photos)
When you use the showcase tool, you upload a photo. You keep all ownership of your photos. You represent and warrant that:
you own (or have the right to use) the card in the photo and the photo itself;
your photo is your own — not an official card scan, store image, or someone else's photo;
your content doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
You grant us only the limited permission needed to provide the tool to you (i.e., your browser processing the image into a framed card you can download). We do not upload, host, store, or reuse your photos — the showcase runs entirely on your device.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of content you upload or images you create and share using the tools.
3. What you may not do
Upload official card images/scans, logos, or artwork you don't have the right to use.
Use the tools to imply we (or your creations) are official, endorsed, or affiliated with any rights-holder.
Create content that is infringing, unlawful, hateful, or that places brand characters in adult or otherwise tarnishing contexts.
Resell, scrape, or redistribute any pricing or data shown on the site.
4. Intellectual property & no affiliation
Card Desk is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company International, PSA, or any rights-holder. "Pokémon" and all related names, characters, logos, and card artwork are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners; we reference them only descriptively to identify the cards our tools work with. Our brand, our frame designs, our analysis, and our code are ours.
5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid notices. If you believe content created or shared via our tools infringes your copyright, contact our designated agent at legal@carddesk.io with the information required under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We maintain a repeat-infringer policy and will act on valid notices.

6. Honest disclaimers
Not financial advice. Our tools give estimates and education, not investment advice. Card values fluctuate; do your own research.
No grade prediction. We measure what's measurable (e.g., centering) and do honest ROI math from the odds you provide. We do not predict or guarantee a grade — no honest tool can.
Prices are third-party estimates (e.g., Cardmarket / TCGplayer), not guaranteed sale prices.
The site and tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
7. Privacy
Your photos never leave your device. The showcase and calculator run client-side; we don't upload or store your images or your calculator inputs.
If you join a waitlist or contact us, we collect only the email/info you provide, to reply or notify you. [Email provider / analytics details to be added once connected.]
We don't sell your personal information.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the tools. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
